One of the most important things to take into consideration on a walk around the world trip is the visas one must obtain. And it to me a while to figure it out, wasting time while searching information separately for the visa requirements for each country The World Photo Tour will take me to. Do I need visa fr this country? Do I need visa for that country? Can I obtain a visa on arrival? Do I need d apply beforehand? And then I found it all in one place, as an article on Wikipedia – Visa requirements for Romanian citizens. And there are articles on the visa whatever your nationality might be.
So I was happy to find out that I actually need to apply and pay for a visa prior to the arrival only for 14 countries out of the 57 on The World Photo Tour: Russia, Kazakhstan, China, India, Myanmar, Australia, USA, Canada, South Africa, Mozambique, North and South Sudan, Libya and Algeria. And I won’t be needing any visa in the first European leg, so the plan is to obtain at least three visas in advance once in Romania and then to get the others while on the way, when needed.
