It was pretty much packed last night in Blues Bar, Harrogate. With moments of precious good byes and happy singalongs – The Proclaimers bit with I’m gonna be (500 miles) was both fun and emotional, the place got filled with people, and fun, and love. Me talking in front of all the people about my walk around the world made me really nervous right before, but once I got the talking-on-the-stage part out of the way, it really was great.
In Pete Oliver’s words,
The best jam night ever last night, packed out, thanks to all who were involved and making it a fantastic night. Great music from Pony and Trap, Fraser and Lence beatboxing, Matt Evens, Matt Goldberg, Jimmy Horowitz , Owen James, Colin Hartshorn, Alasdair Simpson, Rick Lawson, Joanne Newton, Mark Jarvis and Motor City Blue. Thank you!
So a massive thank you to all who came to say good bye, thank you for all the kind words, thanks to all the bands that played, thanks to the bar staff, and thanks Blues Bar!
I could not be bothered to take photos last night, but Olly Robinson did and I took the liberty to snatch some from his blog.
